ankle update

quick update.. Operation completed at stage 1. All went well, only concern was blood pressure at 200+ which has never happened before. So I will try to find out why.

I left early, no pain killers, (is there something wrong with me?), I had doctors and nurses questioning why. Well, I simply dont feel it and its no worse than the pain before anyway.

I have to be still for 4-6 weeks, return to have the foot inspected and stitches out. If there is no pain, then the job is done. If there is pain when foot is loaded, then they implant the cartilage and its another 6 weeks of waiting.

So, to all family and friends- I am fine, needing rest and In a few days I will back blogging and emailing etc.

See you all soon!

Hope you are recovering well Simon, and not having too much pain. I hope your air conditioning works well if you are stuck inside in your summer months...

Well, Kiwi- the house is a rat house.. I have no idea why my eldest daughter chose to allow her boyfriend to stay over, so I could not watch a DVD, or sit on the couch. I limped around on my crutches between the bedroom and kitchen and back again.. drove me NUTS!

Susan- yes i have a pulse thats for sure.. the swelling is going down and I can wiggle the ankle a bit..Should I try to go for a drive? lol!
