Gone!

My Cannondale Synapse in my office.

It went like this- I decided it was time to really hook into the bike riding again, having been slack for 2009. So I took my bike to the bike shop. Dave said:- "Hi Simon where have you been?", I mumbled " Oh I bought a ww2 Jeep and I spent time on it, now I want to get back on the bikes". He replied " So, you want to sell the Jeep?" I said ( out of the blue) "Yep". He said, "I know just the guy,.... he wants one to add to his car collection."

A few hours later he came over and a few hours later I was riding again. Tonight I miss the Jeep that I grew up with.

  6. Very sorry Simon, over your jeep. But bike riding is indeed a wonderful exercise. Still, it must feel strange without the jeep.

  7. I will get another one- a better one.; the other drama I had was there was not enough room in the garage for a jeep, kayak, several bikes, camping equipment... fridge etc..AND i was putting on weight and the jeep slowed me down......

  8. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Darn it, how could you sell my jeep? (Okay, maybe it wasn't technically mine, but a girlie's allowed her fantasies).

I never learned how to ride a bike. I tried as an adult (hubby was determined)but I kept falling off, and it hurt. I am (almost) sure it's a worthwhile pursuit..

  10. Well, how unexpected! You're just like my boys, have a great time with some 'toy' and suddenly sell it off and two months later have a new toy.
